Valued loot is not spendable gold
Gross loot includes the value of collected items. Equipment in your bag can increase session value without increasing your wallet. Sale gold arrives only when the sale happens. Items without a selling price are not valued in the same way.
Profit and waste
Compare loot value with supply cost. A positive result is profit; a negative one is waste. Apparent profit is not always repeatable: a valuable drop in a short session can distort the hourly average. Watch longer samples and separate luck from ordinary income.
Use damage as a diagnostic
Incoming damage, damage dealt and healing views help explain group spending. Check who takes attacks, which actions are used and whether important healing is delayed. More XP per hour does not automatically justify a setup that dies.
One change at a time
Try changing a potion, HP threshold or bar position and watch the result. Changing gear, difficulty and every action together makes it hard to identify what helped. The best leveling hunt can differ from the best place to find a weapon.
