What 83 + 7 means
Skills and magic level separate the trained base from bonuses. “83 + 7” means a base of 83 plus 7 from active effects. Removing food or equipment can reduce the second number without erasing character training.
Native attributes, affixes and refinement
A piece can have native attributes, rolled affixes and refinement. These are different layers. Tier belongs to an affix; refinement level belongs to the item. Compare the full set of properties and requirements, not just color or attack.
Elements and recovery
Attacks can deal physical or elemental damage. Resistances change the outcome against each monster. Regeneration, life steal and mana steal are also different: regeneration happens in pulses; steal depends on dealt damage and cannot restore beyond the maximum.
